President Trump, Comey & McCabe 'Committed Many Crimes'

President Trump, Comey & McCabe 'Committed Many Crimes'”

The interview escalated the ongoing battle between Comey and the president, who just hours had tweeted that his former FBI director was "slimeball" and "the WORST FBI Director in history, by far!"

Comey's ouster led the Justice Department to appoint former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel.

According to Kovalik, Comey's book reveals his political bias.

"With that direction, was President Trump obstructing justice?"

"There's certainly some evidence of obstruction of justice", Comey said.

Markay said that the most dramatic elements of the Comey-Trump saga are not grabbing the headlines because, "most of that has leaked out over the past year or so". He wrote that Comey's writings "are self serving and FAKE!"

Comey also commented Tuesday on recent allegations involving his former deputy Andrew McCabe.

Administration officials are negotiating a possible Trump meeting with Kim as the USA and allies apply economic pressure on the North Korea leader, seeking to get him to give up nuclear weapons.

As he has in the past, Comey offered a vigorous defence of his handling of the Clinton email investigation. Look around and you'll see headlines like "Comey calls Trump 'morally unfit to be president, '" "Comey compares Trump to mob boss", or "Comey: Trump treats women like they're 'meat'".

During an interview with George Stephanopoulos for ABC's 20/20 that aired Sunday night, Comey said that Trump did not possess the tools necessary to fulfill his duty as president. Trump suggested over the weekend on Twitter that the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director should face jail time. I hardly even knew this guy. "Just another of his many lies". Comey answered, "it's possible". Meanwhile, Syrian and Russian officials reportedly blocked a chemical weapons watchdog team from reaching the site where the suspected attack occurred. The former national security adviser admitted guilt in court last December.

During the broadcast, ABC reporter George Stephanopoulos asked, "Do you think the Russians have something on Donald Trump?". "I remember thinking, 'How could your wife think there's a 1 per cent chance you were with prostitutes peeing on each other in Moscow?' " he said, adding that his assessment was it's possible Trump is guilty of the accusation. "I don't know." He did not offer any proof that Russian Federation has anything on Trump.

Comey reportedly didn't know why the distinction was necessary but used the word "matter" at his press event anyway.

To assure that presidents did not become elected despots, and to guarantee that unfit leaders could be removed when necessary, Mason argued at the Constitutional Convention of 1787 that "No point is of more importance than that the right of impeachment should be continued".

In the end, I don't think that either the book or the interview change the Mueller investigation. It was recorded last Monday at Comey's home in suburban Washington. She also labeled him a "self-admitted leaker" who has "proven to be dishonest".

Many Democratic Party activists blamed Comey for Clinton's loss. "He lied to Congress", she said.

Comey said his reaction to the news was disbelief.

Dr. Miller: I think Comey's reasoning is pretty clear: he wants to fix his tarnished reputation... tarnished among both the Democrats and the Republicans.

The significance of the interview lies in how it affects voters who may be wavering about the president and the Republican Party.
