Chelsea complain to UEFA over Barcelona police and steward brutality

Chelsea complain to UEFA over Barcelona police and steward brutalityā€¯

Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways following a poor run of form when they take on Southampton at St Mary's on Saturday afternoon.

Conte, who has been linked with a return to his former role as Italy coach, dropped strong hints that he was unhappy with Chelsea's transfer policy as they struggled to defend the Premier League tite - leading many to believe a parting would be acceptable to both the manager and his club.

That result has left Chelsea sitting fifth in the table and ten points adrift of Tottenham so Antonio Conte knows his side face a tough task to qualify for the Champions League next season.

UEFA ought to take these actions very seriously and dig deeper into finding out which party was responsible for the incident.

We have to prepare as if Chelsea are going to be at their best, with their best players available.

Despite being champions last term, Chelsea have not challenged for the title this year and look set to miss out on Champions League football as well. The only thing we can do is try to finish in the best possible way.

"For sure, for him this is not a lucky season, but we are talking about a good midfielder and a good player".

"I think this is not my job to answer this type of question", Conte told reporters, according to FourFourTwo. "You want to play in the Premier League and you want to play in European football". Instead, this season, we have struggled a lot. "I trust them. I like to think that everyone is giving everything of themselves". There are six games to go and we have an FA Cup semi-final as well.

The Saints are now in a whole world of trouble, and sit in 18th spot in the Premier League table, three points adrift of safety, although they do have a game in hand over 17th placed Crystal Palace.
