Alcuni jet russi avrebbero sorvolato a bassa quota il cacciatorpediniere Donald Cook della marina militare Usa, compiendo manovre di disturbo mentre si avvicinava alle acque territoriali siriane.

Il Presidente degli Stati Uniti d'America, Donald Trump, ha annullato il suo viaggio in America Latina per occuparsi personalmente della questione. In particolare durante l'operazione militare che sembra imminente potrebbe esserci un totale black out radio che renderebbe a dir poco problematico il traffico aereo civile. "Non dovresti essere alleata di un animale che uccide la sua gente con il gas e si diverte". Gli alleati accusano il Governo di Damasco che però smentisce.

Sale la tensione fra Russian Federation e Usa dopo l'attacco con gas a Duma, attribuito al regime di Damasco. Damasco, riferiscono i media statali, nega l'uso di armi chimiche. Nel silenzio incredibile dei partiti si alzi almeno forte la voce di un movimento per la pace e la non violenza, di cui non è possibile fare a meno, e delle organizzazioni del mondo del lavoro.

Oltre ai missili l'agenzia teme infatti anche possibili blackout delle apparecchiature radio, provocate intenzionalmente dalle forze militari statunitensi in vista di un attacco alle basi militari controllate dal regime di Bashar al-Assad.
