Overwatch Uprising Event Returns

Overwatch Uprising Event Returns”

Last year's Uprising event, which ran from April 11 through May 1, put players in the shoes of a set of Overwatch agents tasked with stopping an omnic uprising in King's Row propagated by the omnic group Null Sector. To achieve this, the company is organizing small grassroots events that give players who want to play professionally a venue to show their skills, as well as draw in audiences who might not be familiar with the sport.

You can look over what was included in last year's Uprising event through the Overwatch website. The PvE Brawl mode features Reinhardt, Tracer, Torbjorn and Mercy and players are randomly assigned a character. Fans have been expecting news regarding the return of the King's Row Uprising event for some time, and while Blizzard has delivered a handful of teasers so far an official announcement has remained absent. The date also changes from seven years ago, to eight. Blizzard will also have photo opportunities for non-cosplayers, with a collection of Overwatch's most iconic and beloved weaponry available for people to pose with. The most that fans know about Blackwatch is that the team used tactics that were unfavorable to the public (like assassination, torture, kidnapping, and other methods). We get to hear Soldier: 76 before he lost everything, and get reminded that Reaper was at one point not only a good guy, but a rank above Morrison. More information is expected to appear before its launch. Previous year there was Talon Widowmaker, Blackwatch Genji, and McCree as well as Overwatch cadet skins. There needs to be a reason why Blackwatch operatives joined Talon - and it can't just be the nice uniforms. It's hard to see the name of the file, but one can only assume it's something top secret; i.e, Blackwatch.
