Jesse Lingard can't stop scoring fantastic goals for Manchester United”

Late goals by in-form Jesse Lingard and fit-again striker Romelu Lukaku helped Manchester United to reach the FA Cup fourth round as they ground out a 2-0 home win over Championship (second-tier) side Derby County on Friday.

Anthony Martial is the man most likely to make way despite scoring a fine goal at Goodison Park while Jesse Lingard could also be rested after scoring a stunner against Everton.

Marcus Rashford was presented with the best chance of the half as a fortunate bobble gave him space to pull the trigger towards goal, but he fired his shot just over the bar - the shot should've hit the target, and if it did, would've given the hosts a deserved lead.

Marcus Rashford was next to come close for United in the 18th minute after driving into the Derby box, but the attacker just missed the crossbar, before Derby goalkeeper Scott Carson kept out a curling free kick from Juan Mata.

He even ludicrously took a swipe at club legend Paul Scholes for his criticism of Paul Pogba. Sam Winnall then dragged one wide of the United post just before the half-hour mark as the visitors started to enjoy themselves.

In the 24th minute, United earned a free-kick on the edge of the Derby box but Mata's effort was saved brilliantly by Carson.

On the other hand, the Rams are now unbeaten in their last seven matches and are second in the Championship with a fine shot of getting a chance to coming back to the Premier League.

Lingard, in the form of his life, pulled off a stunning first-time effort from outside the area to break the deadlock on 84 minutes.

However, with a replay suiting neither side both teams pushed forward for a victor and Lingard hit a great strike six minutes from time to put United ahead.

Rashford nodded against a post after being set up by Mkhitaryan ten minutes before the break, before heading straight at Carson - this time from a Mata delivery.
