Paul Ryan Says Congress Will Not Interfere With Robert Mueller's Russia Investigation”

Sunday morning, NBC News reported sources close to Robert Mueller's Russia-Trump investigation claim that the special counsel has enough evidence on former White House National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, as well as his moron kid Michael Flynn Jr., to indict them both.

Flynn, who was sacked after just 24 days on the job, was one of the first Trump associates to come under scrutiny in the federal probe now led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into possible collusion between Moscow and the Trump campaign.

It seems some in Washington weren't surprised by reports signaling Trump's former national security adviser may be the next person to face charges in Mueller's prove.

According to NBC News, investigators reportedly plan to interview multiple witnesses who may be able to shed some light on Flynn's earlier lobbying work, whether he was ever involved in money laundering, and whether he ever lied to or misled federal investigators regarding his overseas contacts.

If the elder Flynn is indicted, it would be the first charges brought against someone who worked in the Trump White House.

If charged, Flynn would become the first member of Trump's administration to face prosecution in the growing, wide-ranging investigation into whether the president's campaign team colluded with Russian Federation to damage the reputation of Hillary Clinton.

Mr Manafort and his business partner, Rick Gates, were charged with 12 offences, including money laundering and conspiracy against the US.

Flynn's lawyer, Robert Kelner, declined to comment.

"End of the day, what we owe the American people is the truth and, most importantly, how we make sure that we don't have a foreign power and a foreign power like Russian Federation intervene again in our elections", said Senator Mark Warner. It was also revealed last week that former foreign policy adviser for the Trump campaign, George Papadopoulos, had pleaded guilty to lying to the F.B.I.

And having Flynn's son over a barrel could get him there.
