Harvey Weinstein 'orally forced himself on me' claims aspiring production worker

Harvey Weinstein 'orally forced himself on me' claims aspiring production worker”

"I shut that down immediately, and I said, 'No, that has nothing to do with what I want to do.' I said, 'What is this, a casting couch thing?'" she said, and noted that Weinstein got "annoyed" with that response.

Huett, who also appeared on "Megyn Kelly Today" Wednesday morning with fellow Weinstein accuser Mimi Haleyi, explained that she's coming forward now thanks to the other women who have shared their stories.

"If she spoke to (investigators), it would be to answer any questions they might have that might be relevant to their investigation".

Among them is Mimi Haleyi, a production assistant on a Weinstein Co.

Herman again stressed his effort to change the Hollywood culture.

"We need justice for these victims", said Allred.

Haleyi said she wanted "a good relationship with [Weinstein], but not a sexual or romantic one".

"I told him no, no, no, but he insisted", Haleyi said to a group of reporters in New York City.

"It was an imbalance of power, she said no, she was coerced, and it was unwanted sexual touching", he said.

"He wouldn't take no for an answer and backed me into a room which was not lit, but looked like a kid's bedroom".

Haleyi claims Weinstein later came to her NY apartment and pleaded with her to come on a romantic-sounding trip to Paris. I tried to get away, tried to get him off me, and kept asking him to stop but it was impossible. "He even pulled out my tampon", Haleyi recalled, adding that the horrific ordeal left her "mortified".

"According to Haleyi, he asked her, "'Don't you feel we're so much closer to each other now?' To which I replied, 'No'".

Her story is strikingly similar to those of more than 50 women who have claimed they were sexually harassed or assaulted by the disgraced film producer.

Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering, who have made Oscar-nominated documentaries about sexual assault in the military (2012's The Invisible War) and on college campuses (2015's The Hunting Ground), are already at work on a follow-up about the crisis in Hollywood.

But after the Weinstein story broke, that was no longer a problem: "It's like an invisible dam collapsed", Ziering said. "I grabbed his hand and squeezed it violently to hurt him and proceeded to hold it in place on his own thigh. It's time for him to take meaningful actions".

Nielsen joins a swelling list of named accusers of Weinstein, now reaching towards 60.

Weinstein entered an undisclosed treatment program after exposes in The New York Times and The New Yorker uncovered a pattern of sexual harassment claims and settlements going back decades.
