Half of US Voters Believe Media Lies About Trump

Half of US Voters Believe Media Lies About Trump”

The Politico poll, published Wednesday, found that almost 50 percent of Americans do, in fact, think that the media fabricates stories about Trump and his administration, while 37 percent don't.

Forty-two percent of Americans think President Trump will be remembered as one of the worst presidents in USA history, according to a new Marist Poll. Twenty percent of Democrats believe the media creates fake stories about Trump, while 65 percent do not. The split is similar on how people think their taxes would change with 31 percent saying they'd "remain about the same".

A new report by Politico states that almost half of the American people believe Twitter fabricates stories about President Trump.

In recent weeks, Trump has accused NBC News of fabricating a story about Secretary of State Rex Tillerson calling him a "moron" and another about Trump reportedly suggesting their should be a ten-fold increase in the USA nuclear stockpile.

President Trump and conservative Americans are staunch critics of the mainstream media.

Pres. Trump, who frequently feuds with the media, Tweeted that he thinks the number is "much worse". I thought after I won, the media would become much more stable and much more honest.

Moreover, NBC News published a story last week alleging Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's decision to resign. NBC is a total joke. They also claimed he slammed the President as a "moron". "But the media is absolutely dishonest - and frankly, I've never seen anything quite like it".

The poll was conducted from October 15-17 among 1,093 adults. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.
