Taylor Swift makes biggest YouTube debut ever with new music videoā€¯

Taylor Swift's new "Look What You Made Me Do" video has been a huge talking point over recent days.

The new track had its official premiere at the MTV VMAs in Los Angeles and features her darker side leaving her former self behind her.

Some fans have questioned whether the bath tub scene is a direct reference to Kim Kardashian's robbery in Paris.

The lyrics video - which was released before Swift debuted the full video at Sunday night's MTV VMAs - accrued 19million views on its first day, nearly doubling the figure held by previous record-holder, Something Just Like This by The Chainsmokers and Coldplay.

Katy Perry, who Taylor fell out with in a feud over backing dancers, also featured as Taylor donned a short blonde wig, similar to Katy's current hairstyle, and crashed her auto as photographers looked on.

One clip shows a number of male dancers wearing crop tops with "I [heart] TS" emblazoned on them - a clear reference to the vest top with the same slogan which Tom was photographed in during their brief fling.

They're then lined up in front of a plane with the name of her new album, Reputation, spray painted across it.

The 27-year-old Shake It Off singer scored 28 million views in 24 hours, beating Adele's 27 million for Hello, according to the BBC.

The single is the first of many from a new Swift album all due for release in November, titled "Reputation".

The release of the track and video came after Taylor Swift wiped her social media channels last week before sharing cryptic videos of snakes on her pages.
