Taylor Swift Announces New Album, Release Date

Taylor Swift Announces New Album, Release Date”

She announced the news on social media, days after her social media pages went dark. Perry is scheduled to perform "Swish Swish", her own diss track from earlier this year about Swift.

Now, many are anticipating that the 27-year-old will be discussing her reputation on TS6, what fans are nicknaming the as yet unnamed material.

Given that the wait for new music since "1989" has been longer than usual, speculation that Swift would be dropping news soon ran rampant. She released the first single from that album, "Shake It Off", on August 18 of that year, about two months before the entire album went on sale.

She followed up her video of an unidentified creature's tail to reveal, as fans had expected, the mystery reptile was a snake.

The album's success gave way to a monster tour and an arguably bigger interest in Swift herself, especially her romantic life and alleged feuds with other celebrities.

Taylor has released six albums to date, which have shifted over 30 million copies around the world. The album is set for release on November 10.

Taylor's most recent VMAs appearance was in 2015, where she performed with Nicki Minaj, who she'd previously issued a public apology to when she misconstrued comments the "Super Bass" rapper had made about white artists being given preferential treatment.

But it's entirely possible she did not intend to announce the record just yet. I feel like a hiss or two would really elevate the quality of the video from excellent to "OMG #TS6 is going to be the best album ever", if we are to believe a new album is really coming. The divisive star revealed the cover art for long-awaited follow-up to 2014's 1989 and it has fans and casual observers losing their collective shit. The second, which could be new album artwork, shows Swift in a sweater and chain choker, her face partially overlayed with newspaper print.
