You can finally have a conversation on YouTube without the pesky trolls

You can finally have a conversation on YouTube without the pesky trolls”

This in-app feature enables users to share a video with friends and even chat about it in a private thread. This new YouTube feature was first made available in Canada and for some users in the United States, and it is now available for all users around the world.

When you press the sharing icon on your mobile device, you will now have the option to share it with your contacts, whether it's just one person or you create a group, all without having to leave the app.

The feature can be found built-in the YouTube app sharing button. Users can start a chat/group amongst their contacts on YouTube and share videos easily.

"YouTube says 'like chats around the water cooler, shouldn't sharing a video be as easy as saying, 'Have you heard this new song?" "We think it'll make sharing easier, faster and more fun on your phone", YouTube announced in a blog post. "We've been experimenting with a better way to share videos on YouTube since previous year". Users can also respond to a video share with, what else, another video by pressing the reel icon and searching for the right comeback. The first, a dollar sign in a green circle, means that you're earning money via "the broadest set of advertisers" as well as on YouTube Red. The videos have been watched more than 356,000 times and have not been removed despite YouTube's terms saying it takes "threats, harassment, intimidation (and) inciting others to commit violent acts" seriously.

Similar to what Instagram already has implemented with its direct messaging feature, the YouTube app now lets you pull up your contacts to directly send them videos.

The in-app messaging facility, for both Android and iOS users, also allows you to reply with another video. So, what we are looking at here is a full-fledged messaging service within the app. This could be a path-breaking result for YouTube as platforms such as Snapchat and Facebook have seen growth in triple digits for the number of daily views of videos.

YouTube is, without a doubt, the most popular platform for watching videos and its content highly shared on social media platforms as well as your closed messenger groups.
