The Crew 2 Announced, Speedboat and Plane Racing Confirmed”

Like the last game's announcement at E3 2015, The Crew 2 was revealed in a stunning CGI trailer showcasing the incredible variety of vehicles, from muscle auto street racing in NY, to Red Bull-style stunt races in acrobatic planes, single seater track racing, dirt bikes tearing up canyons, and speedboats charging through the Mississippi River. Quite the promise, and it's all one big open world too.

Among the street and off-road racing we've become familiar with in the first title, it looks like players will also be taking to race tracks, which looks like a fantastic addition to the game. No word on whether The Crew 2 will be playable offline like Need for Speed: Payback, though. You'll be able to unlock new rides, take part in contests, and each challenge you complete will be shared and saved as a new challenge for other players, meaning that you set the records. Finally, we're now with the birds, stunt flying through the stunning skybox and weaving through the buildings in the city. Check out the trailer below! The Crew 2's playground pushes physical boundaries to let driving and open-world fans test their skills, solo or with friends, in non-stop competition and exploration, featuring a variety of cars, bikes, boats and planes, and become the greatest motorsports champion.

Releasing in early 2018, The Crew 2 will offer beta access for those who sign up now. Essentially, you can unlock up to 18 cars in The Crew 2 by completing "actions" before the new game is released. Get the news you can use. The Crew was an interesting game, but it was also a highly flawed experience that didn't really take advantage of its most intriguing concepts.

There's no offline mode in The Crew and it's fair to say the game has had more than its fair share of technical problems and glitches.

The game is still early in development so we will be getting more details as the year progresses.
