Video Shows Shooting Inside Texas Car Dealership

Two bounty hunters and a fugitive suspect were killed during a shootout at Nissan of Greenville on Tuesday as customers and workers at the vehicle dealership dove for cover.

A cellphone recording shows scenes from the deadly shootout between bounty hunters and a fugitive inside the Nissan dealership.

Bounty hunters Gabriel Bernal, 33, and Fidel Garcia, 54, had arrived at the dealership to apprehend suspected criminal Ramon Hutchinson.

According to a Minnesota bail bond enforcement agency, Hutchinson failed to appear in a Hennepin County court in March, and had a nationwide felony warrant issued for his arrest. They said Hutchinson broke free and began firing his gun, with the bounty hunters firing back. Both Garcia and Bernal returned fire, the release said. The other two fired as well and Lucas said about 20 shots were fired in the span of six seconds.

Although there are questions which remain unanswered, the Greenville Police Department's investigation into a Tuesday night incident at a local automobile dealership, during which three people were shot and killed, may be all but complete.

Greenville police also released 911 calls placed during the shooting, including a woman who said she was hiding in the bathroom while asking police to "please, hurry".

Bernal and Garcia had traveled to Greenville from Corpus Christi to arrest Hutchinson.

Alfaro, a licensed private investigator, told WFAA it is almost unheard of for a commissioned security officer to be involved in bond apprehensions, the term Texas uses commonly associated with fugitive recovery. When the dust cleared, the three men were dead.

"Mr. Garcia felt the defendant would ultimately appear at that dealership", Peters said.

TV's famed "Dog the Bounty Hunter", Duane Chapman analyzed the video for Inside Edition.

Rick Ford, owner of the dealership, said the bounty hunters initially presented themselves as federal agents and had waited several hours for Hutchinson to arrive on the scene.

Matthews said that typically law enforcement might use four tactical officers to make this type of arrest, and he said a auto dealership was not an appropriate location.

Torrez said Garcia was responsible and well-respected in his field. Garcia was a licensed private investigator and Verbal was not.
