Wales boss Coleman says not interested in Palace job

Wales boss Coleman says not interested in Palace job”

But Coleman said it would look "cowardly" if he walked out on Wales little more than two weeks before their vital World Cup qualifier in Serbia on June 11.

Liverpool youngsters Harry Wilson and Ben Woodburn also retain their places in Coleman's squad.

And Coleman, who pledged this would be his final campaign after leading Wales to the semi-finals of Euro 2016 last summer, says his focus is on reaching next summer's World Cup finals in Russian Federation.

And Chris Coleman has decided they are worthy becoming a more permanent fixture in the Wales squad, giving them their second inclusion. All I care about is Wales.

Wales manager Coleman said: "He doesn't want to play global football, which is a disappointment from our point of view". That's all I care about.

Gareth Bale and Neil Taylor are omitted due to being suspended for the clash, but Coleman has no injury worries as he takes the players through their paces prior to naming the squad that will take on Serbia.

Lots of things have been said off the back of comments I made at the start of the campaign when I signed a new contract.

Wales, who are in the same World Cup qualification group as Ireland, sit third in Group D, four points behind both Ireland and Serbia.

"There is a little bit of spice to me because of what happened there previously, but it is a game I am really looking forward to".

"We dealt with that disappointment a while ago now - we once went to Belgium without Gareth Bale and got a great result with Aaron Ramsey running the show".

"I know it's a huge task for us, but I've still got the same excitement to do the job, the same belief in the players and the team".

"People are prepared to step up, I'm quite confident of that".
