Sean Spicer Was 'Among' the Bushes, Not Hiding 'In' Them

Sean Spicer Was 'Among' the Bushes, Not Hiding 'In' Them”

It has been a odd week, even for the Trump administration, with the firing of FBI Director James Comey and stories of Sean Spicer, bushes, and Rod Rosenstein.

He knew he'd be grilled today about Trump's tweet so he and Trump certainly discussed it beforehand.

Spicer said at Friday's briefing that he occasionally has problems trying to meet with Trump before he talks with reporters because of the president's "very robust schedule".

Spicer indicated to the press that the decision to fire Comey came straight from the Department of Justice and was simply co-signed by Trump. "I believe you, and others, will attest to when we don't have an answer, we try really hard to either update you after the fact or to get you the facts that we didn't have at the time".

The Washington Post threw some subtle shade at the Trump White House in issuing a correction on a story about Sean Spicer and his location among the bushes following the announcement of FBI Director James Comey's termination.

Trump also denied reports that he asked Comey to pledge his loyalty to him at a private dinner shortly after Trump was sworn in. I think loyalty to the country, loyalty to the USA, is important.

After the Comey news broke on Tuesday night, Spicer asked Trump if it was still alright for him to do his reserve duty and Trump gave him the OK.

"The president himself also chose to improvise, which compounded some of the problems", O'Connell said.

"The president should immediately provide any such recordings to Congress or admit, once again, to have made a deliberately misleading - and in this case threatening - statement", Schiff added. This official said sending Sanders into the briefing room was the right call.

"I$3 t took my breath away", Wallace said of Spicer's response, in which he declined three times to outright deny the president is recording any such exchanges. "I hadn't had a chance to have the conversation directly with the president", she said, adding that "I went off the information that I had when I answered your question".

President Donald Trump, who has reportedly been isolated and frustrated by the negative coverage engulfing his administration in recent days, may be considering a major reorganization of his White House staff, according to an Axios report from Mike Allen on Sunday. Even a great briefer could, as a result, be a bad press secretary.
