Luis Enrique anticipating tough test for Barcelona at Las Palmas

Luis Enrique anticipating tough test for Barcelona at Las Palmas”

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique said on Saturday the match against Las Palmas is very hard but his team will fight until the end to try and win both La Liga and the King's Cup. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 5 HD.

Here's your full guide to how and where to watch Las Palmas v Barcelona, or follow it online.

As per the squad list released by Barcelona's official website, the players that will be travelling to the Canary Islands are Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Masip, Rakitic, Sergio, Denis, Arda, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar Jr, Mascherano, Alcácer, Alba, Digne, Gomes, Umtiti, Aleñá and Marlon.

In his post-match interview with Movistar+, Suarez said: "We did our job which was to win our game".

"They have a stadium where the fans really back their players and they are one of the teams that play the best football in the league".

"The players' mentality is to exhaust our chances of winning all the trophies we can, and we're going to fight for the title until the end", he added.

Another option is a return to a back three, a formation that worked so well in the comeback against Paris Saint-Germain but has been discarded lately.

Enrique said: "It is a game of huge difficulty".

Barcelona visits Las Palmas at the same time on Sunday.

The Barca boss claimed to be confident that he will be able to answer the conundrum against a Las Palmas team who can pose a significant attacking threat on their day, having scored three or more goals on six occasions at home this season.

Barcelona's last game is at home against middle of the pack Eibar, while Madrid has games at Celta Vigo and Malaga. Luis Enrique recognises them as one of the league's best footballing sides, and they've demonstrated that over the past 18 months.

While Paco Alcacer and Arda Turan are also available, it is unlikely that Enrique will make any changes to his front three of Messi, Neymar and Suarez. Villarreal sat back because we had a very complete game.
