Election notebook: Clark to spend election night in Vancouver

In February, Ms. Clark apologized after accusing the NDP of hacking the BC Liberal Party website.

Ms. Clark told the CFOX hosts, "I am sure that happens to you all the time".

"The Greens are the wild card in this election", he said.

Horgan responded that the B.C. Liberals' 15-per-cent foreign buyers' tax has slowed the rise of prices in Metro Vancouver, but young people are still leaving B.C.

Berman has been an outspoken critic of Clark in the past but she doesn't speak for her entire team.

The bad news is that her party appears to be trailing the B.C. New Democrats by eight per cent, according to a Forum Research survey of 1,067 voters obtained by Metro, and she remains disliked by almost two-in-three British Columbians. "This whole thing's coming down to, 'What's going to happen with the Green vote?'" Another poll also released May 1 from Ipsos-Reid, of 661 voters, suggested a very different result: a statistical tie between B.C. Liberals and NDP, but Clark's party eking out a minority victory in the seat count.

"I am the only who has actively participated in opposing the Kinder Morgan Pipeline expansion, and we are rallying around that". "I think [Ms. Clark] was truthful in her manner when she saw me".

"I don't think that the Clark government has really crossed the line and lost legitimacy in the way the Socreds did and the NDP did", he said. The internet lit up with condemnation for Clark, and the BC Liberals then began a social media campaign trying to paint Higgins as an "NDP plant". With just over one week to go before voting day May 9, it makes me wonder if the Liberals are getting anxious.

Horgan said the NDP has a $10 billion capital plan to invest in the services people count on, including the construction of the long-anticipated new hospital in the Valley, and create 96,000 jobs. Like I said, it's not about me. Alfred Hermida, director of the University of British Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, crunched some numbers and tallied 25,885 #IamLinda tweets between April 28 and April 30. "I didn't say anything remotely like that".

BC Liberal Vancouver-Quilchena candidate Andrew Wilkenson says that will hit B.C. right in the tech sector, just as the province markets itself as a potential Silicon Valley North. "I don't know where she got that from or why she would say that about me".

"There's a reason there are 28 days in a campaign, because we spend every day talking about the things that we stand for and the things that we believe in", Clark said.
