National Football League owners say yes to the Las Vegas Raiders

Will Las Vegas host the event in 2022?

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) drives to the basket against Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley (2) during the second half of an NBA basketball game at the Toyota Center, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, in Houston.

However, his plans to remain in Oakland in the short-term may be derailed, as it has been reported by the East Bay Times that local Councilman Larry Reid, apparently angered by the team's decision to leave, wants the Raiders to clear out of the Coliseum, possibly as early as next season.

The team has left Oakland before - from 1982 to 1994 they were the "Los Angeles Raiders" and they still have a large fan base in Southern California city.

Pereira has been a season ticket holder since 1995 when the Raiders returned to Oakland from Los Angeles.

-Allowing teams to interview or hire an employee of another team during the season if the other team consents.

For this week's episode, I sat down for conversations at the annual NFL owners meetings with NFL Competition Committee chairman Rich McKay, Oakland coach Jack Del Rio and San Jose Mercury News columnist Mark Purdy. "The team can't move for years anyway and they could have voted later this year while Oakland had more time to flesh out that latest proposal". "If [sharing Levi's] was an opportunity, we'd certainly sit down and discuss it, but I think there are a lot of moving pieces right now that it's really conjecture to talk about 2019 at this point, when they'd still, obviously, prefer to be at the Coliseum".

The Raiders will construct a support system to keep players focused, and are ready to handle any questions players and their families may have about an upcoming move.

The problem. Las Vegas has not broken ground on the stadium, leaving the Raiders in limbo in Oakland.

"No way I'd pay my money to attend a game".

"If I was the fans I wouldn't attend a game the next two years".

Everything remains up in the air as the Raiders make the move to Sin City. I won't attend a game.

Will the Raiders lose much of their home-field advantage because their fans feel betrayed?

The soon-to-be Las Vegas Raiders will remain in Oakland for the time being, spending the entirety of the 2017-18 National Football League season in the confines of the Coliseum. The type of thing you don't just throw away.
