Rain fell for the second straight morning across parts of the Garden State, but temperatures were warmer than usual, beginning in the mid to high-40s. Overnight lows will be around 5 degrees above average in the lower 30s. An area of high pressure located near Hudson Bay noses into New England tomorrow, ushering in drier and more pleasant weather for the mid-week.

The sky will continue to clear through the day Wednesday with the return to sunny skies. North wind at 4 to 8 miles per hour. Highs on Monday will be near 60 with lows just below 50 in the evening. Highs will be in the upper-40s on Sunday and around 50 on Monday. Wednesday and Thursday are looking breezy with gusts upwards of 25 miles per hour as the next front rolls through.

An east fetch from the Gulf of ME will keep temperatures above freezing along the coast. Confidence is high in the forecast precipitation wise through Sunday morning but confidence decreases Sunday afternoon through early next week.

Highs will reach into the mid to upper 40s south to near 40 degrees across the north.

Rain chances then return for the Tuesday through Thursday time period. Opening Day for the Red Sox looks almost flawless.
