Netflix Teases Two Dave Chappelle Stand Up Specials Coming This Month

Netflix Teases Two Dave Chappelle Stand Up Specials Coming This Month”

The trio of comical shows cost Netflix $60 Million USD to get Chappelle on board.

One day after Netflix dropped the first teaser for Amy Schumer's new comedy special on Netflix, the streaming service has unveiled a tantalizing teaser for Dave Chappelle's new stand-up specials as well.

This comes as a big surprise to many, mainly because Netflix is just now making the announcement. Within each of the two hour-long specials, self-financed by Chappelle and directed by Stan Lathan, the Emmy®-nominated comedian brings his unflinching comedic style, tackling race, class, politics, pop culture, and more.

Dave Chappelle announced a few weeks ago that he has a three part special with Netflix. So far, the premiere date hasn't been revealed.

Chappelle hasn't been in the public spotlight as much since ending his show on Comedy Central, but he's slowly re-introduced himself back to the comedy world with his SNL appearance and other live shows.

Needless to say, fans will be excited to see what the comedian has in store for them. Today, Netlfix released a teaser trailer announcing the first two, which will be available to stream on March 21.
